This volume extends the exhibition Daido Moriyama – Love Letters to Photography by providing, for the very first time in French, access to a selection of twenty-two texts by the photographer. Written over the decades, these essays, fragments, and statements shed light from within on his practice and his reflections on the medium. They reveal a free, direct, and often radical way of thinking that both accompanies and expands upon his photographic work.
