In 1993, Stephen Shore travelled to Luzzara in Italy, in the province of Reggio Emilia. He photographed the inhabitants, the streets and the landscapes as Paul Strand had done 40 years earlier with his book Un Paese. This project was published in the book Stephen Shore: Luzzara 1993 by Stanley/Barker in 2016.
