Projection du film documentaire Hou Bo, Xu Xiaobing, photographes de Mao (2003, durée 52 minutes), réalisé par Claude Hudelot et Jean-Michel Vecchiet.
Les photographes officiels de Mao, Hou Bo (1924-2017) et Xu Xiaobing (1916-2009), reviennent sur les images qui ont fait l’histoire de la Chine et la renommée du Grand Timonier. Après avoir dédié l’ensemble de leurs vies à la cause maoïste, ils racontent leurs parcours et les souffrances qu’ils subirent en guise de reconnaissance. Une histoire qui s’inscrit en toile de fond des grands bouleversements de la Chine au XX ème siècle.
La projection sera suivie d’une discussion en présence des réalisateurs.
La Fondation HCB propose une seconde projection du film documentaire Hou Bo, Xu Xiaobing, photographes de Mao, mercredi 5 février à 15h.
