Behind the Scenes of the Emmet Gowin Exhibition

The crates have just arrived from Paris and the installation is in progress!

From May 14th to July 27th 2014, the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson will hold an exhibition on the American photographer Emmet Gowin. This important retrospective exhibits 130 prints of one of the most original and influential photographers of the last forty years. On two floors, this exhibition presents work from his entire career: his most famous series from the end of the sixties, the moths’ flights, and the aerial photographs. The intimate pictures of his wife and family are presented alongside his images of landscapes. The exhibition is organized by Fundación MAPFRE in collaboration with the Fondation HCB and is accompanied by a catalogue published by Xavier Barral Editions.
