On the occasion of the exhibition Nicaragua, History, Memory, the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson invites the public to a special book presentation with Susan Meiselas. The photographer will present the book published by Atelier EXB, produced alongside the exhibition and devoted to her work in Nicaragua since the late 1970s.
The book traces a singular journey: that of a body of photographic work which, from the Sandinista revolution to the present day, has never stopped circulating, transforming, and being reclaimed by the very people it once depicted. Through the pages of the book, Susan Meiselas will look back on this long-term approach, born of repeated trips to Nicaragua to trace what became of her images once they left her lens.
The talk will be held in English and followed by a book signing.
Tickets are available here.
