In this seventeenth episode, Damarice Amao, photography historian and curator at the Photography Department of the MNAM–Centre Pompidou, tells the story of Marseille (1932) by Henri Cartier-Bresson.
Each episode of Une image, des images is an opportunity for a specialist to recount the story of a particular image: a way of discovering, through his or her eyes, the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson’s archives and the photographic work of its two founders.
This program is made possible with the generous support of the Franck family.
