Born in 1969 in Karlstad (Sweden), JH Engström has been developing for over three decades a major body of work that questions the conditions of our existence through photography, film, and books.
With DIMMA / BRUME / MIST, this inveterate bookmaker reflects on 35 years of work. This is not a best-of, nor a reissue of his previous books, but an exploration of the ongoing search, the movements, and energies that run through his work. The book brings together previously unseen images, scanned directly from his contact sheets, accompanied by personal texts, reflections, and memories.
Talk in French followed by a book signing.
Admission fee. Tickets available on the online tickets office.
