The Centre Pompidou’s Henri Cartier-Bresson Exhibition Sets A New Attendance Record

Between February 12th and June 9th the exhibition was viewed by nearly 425,000 visitors.

 

The Henri Cartier-Bresson exhibition enabled the Centre Pompidou to hit an all-time high attendance record for a photography show, welcoming an average of 5,000 visitors per day. The previous record was set by “La subversion des images,” an exhibition dedicated to surrealist photography, which had an overall attendance of 200,000 visitors (2009-2010).
