The Pre-Selection Committee

A pre-selection committee will review all the proposals. It will consist of 5 members based in France, they will meet in Paris. The chairman of the committee will act as the link between the pre-selection committee and the jury. During the deliberations any member of the jury will have access to all the applications received.

The Jury

The winner will be designated by an International Jury composed of 7 prominent personalities in photography, literature, art, cinema and journalism. The jury will meet in Paris in June 2007 and announce the winner, at the beginning of July. The decision of the Jury is final.

Prize

The HCB Award is of 30 000 Euros. It shall not be divided.

Calendar

Next edition of the prize : June 2009

• March 1st to April 15th 2009, return of applications to the Foundation.
• June 2009, selection of the prize-winner.
• July 2009 return of applications to the candidates, once the jury has met and the prize-winner has been selected.
